Black Trench Coat and Taupe Booties

After a long night of celebrations at my husband's company holiday party yesterday, we decided to recharge with Blue Bottle Coffee and run a few errands this afternoon around downtown Oakland. Don't worry, my holiday dress details will be in a separate blog post. ;)  

For my outfit, I wore a light black trench coat over an olive green tee tucked into my rolled up jeans. I paired it with these adorable taupe colored booties and a simple clutch. I wanted to keep my look effortless chic and comfortable at the same time. 

I love the geometric frames on these blue mirrored shades. They made for a fun statement accessory and added a lovely pop of color to the outfit.
