Today, I want to share with you my experience using Flytographer, a travel photography service Dave and I used to capture fun moments from our Japan vacation two weeks ago. Traveling is already stressful, from the meticulous planning to the packing process, and of course... taking pictures to showcase on social media for friends back at home. I typically prefer using my iPhone 7 since the camera quality is excellent and it's compact. The only downside is if I want to snap a photo of myself and include Dave in it, we have to rely on selfie mode or ask some random stranger to do it for us. I wanted to preserve our memories in a meaningful way without the stress of carrying a DSLR around, so I researched some affordable travel photography services and Flytographer caught my eye. Flytographer operates in 200+ major cities around the world. Each city has at least 3 quality local photographers to choose from. I love how you can view their portfolios beforehand, so you can see if their style is a match for you. There are four pricing options available which allows you to select one that fits your schedule. For Tokyo, we decided on Daniel, the 60 min package, and requested Shibuya Crossing as our starting location. After putting in a full payment upfront, Flytographer concierge arranged everything for us. All we had to do was show up! Daniel approached us with a friendly smile and made us feel at ease within minutes of meeting. He provided us with clear direction on how to pose for a few shots and I admired how efficiently he was able to capture the right shots while maintaining great rapport the entire time. We received our edited photos a few days later and were completely blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. Here are a few of our favorites below. Thank you so much for reading. If you do decide to go with Daniel at Flytographer, let him know I sent you. I know you'll be in great hands. :)
