Feeling Blue On A Rainy Day

I thought I managed to dodge the winter bug at work and during the holiday season, but it has unfortunately gotten to me! Now all I want to do is bundle up on my couch with a hot cup of tea and watch an episode of The Cosmos. Oh joy... 

Luckily, my husband managed to take a few shots of my outfit from the other day, so at least I will be able to share a blog post about it :) 

I wore this white moto jacket that was purchased from the sale rack at Forever 21. I love the textured details and how it adds an edgey vibe. Underneath is a plain white tank top that is also from Forever 21 which I found in their basics section. On the bottom, I have a pair of distressed denim jeans from Amazon. I was hesitant about purchasing pants from an online seller without trying them on since it's a challenge for me to find the perfect fit for my wide hips. The reviews for this item were very promising and I decided to take the risk. I'm so happy I did! 

For accessories, I opted for a simple black faux leather backpack from Forever 21 (wow, I was definitely on a Forever 21 kick). It held all my essentials and left me hands free to hold my umbrella in the pouring rain. My hands also get cold easily due to poor circulation, so I wore these black knitted gloves from Target.
