Lately, Dave and I have been making it a weekly goal to dine at one new trendy restaurant in San Francisco. He usually leaves it up to me to make the selection, so it makes coordinating much easier for us. This weekend, we visited Foreign Cinema which is located in the Mission district. I highly recommend this place for the perfect rustic style brunch spot. They also have a semi-outdoor area covered by a transparent ceiling shade + a blank wall in the back for playing classic movies at night. I had a smoked salmon toast and the husband dined on the Heavenly Scramble. We headed off to the Legion of Honor Museum after lunch to view a lovely art exhibit dedicated to the initial phase of Claude Monet's career. I enjoyed seeing how his painting style evolved throughout the years as well as his deep mastery for creating natural light on canvas. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to take photos during my time there, but if you are in the SF Bay Area, I highly recommend it before the next exhibit rotation kicks off after May 2017. Link to event HERE. Today, I wore a light tan trench coat from Forever 21 over this romper I purchased a few years ago from Tobi. It was still quite chilly, so I slipped on a pair of black tights to stay warm and create a streamlined look. I wanted to match the cool silver tones of my coat buttons with my necklace/bracelet combo from Aldo and my quilted bag from Forever 21. Thank you very much for reading! It's also Daylight Savings so don't forget to spring forward an hour ;)
