Call me basic, but fall has to be one of my favorite seasons out of the year. The leaves begin changing into various shades of red, yellow and orange. Starbucks starts selling their signature pumpkin spice lattes. More importantly, it's time to kick off sweater season! Today, I want to share with you a casual fall inspired outfit I wore while shopping in San Francisco.  

Is it possible to do an affordable Cancun trip during a 3 day holiday weekend? I thought it wouldn't be, but we somehow made it work for our Labor Day vacation! After a bit of research, Dave and I along with two close friends found an excellent hotel deal on Expedia.com at the Grand Oasis Cancun All Inclusive Resort. And yes, by all inclusive, this meant we wouldn't have to pay for dining, alcoholic drinks, and other fun resort activities. Unbelievable right? We took a red-eye flight via Aeromexico and after one Mexico City layover + eight hours later, we finally arrived in beautiful Cancun! 

I thought by end of summer, the ruffled bell sleeve trend would have died down and we'd all start rocking light sweaters for fall. Boy was I wrong about that! I keep seeing new variations of the trend pop up at department stores, so we're not seeing the end of it any time soon. Since it's here to stay for a while, I wanted to showcase this lovely white ruffled blouse I had purchased a while back from Forever 21.
